This arrangement was commissioned by the First Baptist Church of Jasper, Georgia, to celebrate the retirement of David Stuart after 38 years of service as their Minister of Music. The specific request was for SATB choir, piano and two trumpets. It is published by Lorenz (product #10/4403L) and this is their description: "Steve Dunn's arrangement is an energetic, driving setting of this classic hymn. Story

Italian for "The Dance of Life", "Danza Della Vita" was commissioned for the Ira F. Simmons Middle School Eighth Grade Choir, John Kincaid, director. This is a composition for SATB chorus with piano that takes into consideration the needs of changing voices, yet is appropriate for more mature voices as well. The original text (which is in English in spite of the title) also encourages singers to discover the uniqueness of who they are "...and dance!".
