It was specifically written to meet the needs of a smaller ensemble, but expandable for a full orchestra with (or without) a dynamic rhythm section. Exciting

Commissioned by the East Cooper Baptist Church Orchestra, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Mike Doll, director. This was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Music and Worship Pastor, Dean Henderson. This classic hymn, featuring the CORONATION hymn tune, was chosen because it is a favorite of Dean's. The arrangement begins with a driving 6/8

The arrangement begins with a driving 6/8 fanfare and keeps up the pace to its powerful conclusion. If you are looking for an attention getting opener - or an energetic closer - this is for you. There is enough challenge to delightfully engage all of your players (Grade 3+ to 4) and the arrangement has a strong rhythm section core featuring acoustic guitar, with parts for optional electric guitar - though all of those parts can be covered by piano/keyboard.
